Deep Ocean

When we look at the sea, all we see is the surface, but underneath it is teeming with life.  Marine Scientists try to understand all aspects of the ocean including its physical characteristics (tides, currents, chemistry, temperature) and its biology – the animals, plants and microbes that live there. Louise studies the diverse animals that live in the deeper parts of the ocean. In this talk, she will describe some of those animals and explain how important the deep oceans are to us as humans.
