How the brain sends messages to the body

The brain is an amazing body organ that allows us to control breathing, walking, thinking, and even feeling.  The brain controls different body parts by sending messages along the spinal cord.  Neuroscientists work to figure out how different parts of the brain connect to each other and how the brain and spinal cord transport messages.  As a Neuroscientist, Siobhan works to try to understand what happens when messages can’t move between the brain and the rest of the body. Siobhan will talk about what Neuroscientists do.
